Your wedding at Château de Breteuil

From £47,000, all-inclusive, for the big day and about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date, your guest count and the salons you choose, and you get it in writing within a week.

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

You can, it's a beautiful house. The château rents you its salons or its Orangerie, with their gardens, the caterer's kitchen and the parking. You then bring together the caterer, the furniture, the DJ, the decor and the florist. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

Up to 250. The four salons in a row, Grande Galerie included, welcome up to 250 people; the Orangerie, with its terrace and gardens, up to 150.

Tell us your date, we check with the château and reply in writing. It hosts at most one event a day, and the château is open every day of the year.

The salons or the Orangerie, with their gardens, are privately hired for you. The park stays open to walkers until it closes, 8 pm in summer, and they grow few from late afternoon: the last château tour starts at 5.30 pm. By evening, the estate belongs to you and your guests.

Yes: in the formal garden, between the water mirror, the statues and the clipped yews, or on the Orangerie side, on the Italian terrace and in the Jardin des Princes. If it rains, in one of the château's salons.

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Choisel town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Yes: Paris Orly airport is 40 minutes away, Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse station, on the RER B from Paris, 15 minutes, and Paris 35 km. Parking at the château is free. To sleep nearby, we give you the best addresses around the château, ready to share with your loved ones.

The caterer you choose. The château recommends caterers who know the house well, and you are free to pick another. We build the menu with them, you taste it beforehand, and it is included in your price.

In the Chambre Romantique, on the château's first floor, set aside for the couple. On the Orangerie side, two small salons work for getting ready too, and the 3-bedroom apartment on the main courtyard can host the two of you or a few of your family.

Yes. The reception rooms are on the ground floor, laid-out paths cross the gardens, and there are accessible toilets. The children have their own room, included with the salons, and the maze of a thousand box trees below the Jardin des Princes.

Yes, and if you already have a vendor in mind, they're welcome. Your photos are included, with our photographers. If you already have yours, we welcome them into the team and adjust your price. At the château, the caterer, the DJ, the florist and the decor are all your choice, with a recommended selection if you'd like one.
