Planning a wedding is a second job. At Fervenza, it's ours: creative ideas that feel like you, our address book, one contract and a price you know up front. Your ally, for the two of you, carrying your whole wedding.

Why we love Château de Robernier

Two pointed towers behind the plane trees, an ivy-clad courtyard, an 18th-century chapel and ballroom, all set in hills of vines and olive trees. The château all yours, just outside Cotignac. And at dinner, the courtyard lit up under the garlands: the picture everyone takes home.

  • Aerial view of the formal garden of the Château de Robernier, its palm-lined alleys and the wooded hills of the Var

    The château, all yours

in its own private hills, among vines and century-old olive trees

only a few weddings each year

  • Two pointed towers

a rare silhouette on the château's facade, behind all your photos

  • Aerial view of the Château de Robernier, its courtyard, towers and tiled roofs, with terraced vineyards and woods around it

    The estate's wine

red, white and rosé, AOC Côtes de Provence, from the vines all around you

  • The party

    • Ceremony on site

in the château's own 18th-century chapel

    • The courtyard, to celebrate

the château's own courtyard, before moving on to dance in the ballroom

    • The party in the ballroom

built in the 18th century, for dancing once dinner is over

  • Practical

    • Just outside Cotignac

between Montfort-sur-Argens and Cotignac, in the heart of the Var

    • Cotignac and its 18 fountains

waterfalls down the rock and the sanctuary Louis XIV came to give thanks at, for a stroll before the party

  • A gravel alley between lawns and clipped hedges, leading to the Château de Robernier under a blue sky
Up the alley, the château ahead
  • A ceremony aisle with blue and white flowers on the balustraded terrace of the Château de Robernier, overlooking the garden, palm trees and the Var valley
Your vows on the terrace, facing the hills
  • Two tall palm trees framing the formal garden of the Château de Robernier, a white gravel alley running up to the château
Drinks in the garden, under the palms
  • Long tables dressed in white with flowers and wooden chairs in the ivy-covered courtyard of the Château de Robernier, string lights overhead
Dinner in the courtyard, under the garlands
  • Aerial view at dusk of the Château de Robernier, its lit courtyard set for dinner and its towers among wooded hills
    Evening falls, the courtyard glows
  • The double-height entrance hall of the Château de Robernier, black and white marble floor, crystal chandelier and gallery
Look up: the marble hall and its chandelier

The area

Cotignac, a few minutes away, is one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France: an 80-metre tufa cliff hollowed with cave dwellings, 18 fountains, and the sanctuary of Notre-Dame-de-Grâces. For those who arrive early: the Tuesday morning market on the Cours Gambetta, and the signposted trail up to the cave dwellings.

Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French company that plans weddings with everything included. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

  • French company, licensed live-event producer Your contract is governed by French law
  • Covered by professional liability insurance
How much does a wedding at Château de Robernier cost?

From £46,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the château directly?

You can, it's a beautiful house. The château rents you the whole estate and its rooms, and opens its address book. You then bring together the caterer and the service, the flowers and the decor, the music and the photographer. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 300 at table and up to 1,000 for drinks outdoors. 24 of you can sleep at the château.

Which dates are still free?

The château hosts only a few weddings a year, so it pays to ask early. Tell us your date, we check with the château and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes: on the gravel terrace facing the hills, in front of the facade and its two towers, in the courtyard or in the grounds. Your words, your officiant, your people around you. And for a religious ceremony, the château has its own 18th-century chapel.

Can we have our civil wedding in Montfort-sur-Argens?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Montfort-sur-Argens town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Toulon is an hour away, Marseille 1 h 10 and Nice 1 h 25, and the nearest TGV station is Les Arcs-Draguignan. 24 of them sleep at the château, and for the others we share the best addresses in Cotignac and around.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

How late can we dance?

Until 4 am, in the 18th-century ballroom, with the DJ and the lights. Dinner is served in the courtyard, then everyone moves inside to dance, a few steps away.

Where do we get ready?

At the château. A bridal suite for the two of you, rooms in the towers for your closest friends, and panelled salons, a library and a marble hall for the photos before the ceremony.

And if it rains?

The party moves inside the château: the ballroom, the orangery and the salons welcome up to 300 guests in all. Dinner and dancing stay under the same roof, and the ballroom opens onto the courtyard for a glass between two showers.

Will our grandparents manage easily?

Yes. The château is listed as wheelchair accessible, there is parking on site, and the ceremony, dinner and dancing all happen within a few steps of each other. Dogs are welcome too.

Can we taste the château's wine?

Yes. The estate makes its own red, white and rosé, AOC Côtes de Provence, from syrah, grenache, rolle and cabernet sauvignon, and a cold-pressed olive oil from olives picked by hand. A tasting fits nicely into your programme.

Can we bring our own vendors?

Yes, and if you already have a vendor in mind, they're welcome. Your photos are included, with our photographers. If you already have yours, we welcome them into the team and adjust your price. The château lets you choose your caterer, with an equipped kitchen on site.
