Your wedding at Château Sentout

From £53,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. Your exact price depends on your date and guest count, in writing within a week.

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

You can, it's a lovely house. The château rents you its estate, its 24 rooms, its furniture and its kitchens. You then bring together the caterer, the drinks, the flowers, the decor, the music, the photographer and the running of the day. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

Up to 100 at the table indoors, and 120 outdoors or under the Berber tent. At 50, everyone sleeps at the château; at 120, it's the big party in the gardens, and the others stay near Cadillac-sur-Garonne or in Créon.

The château welcomes weddings over a weekend, Friday to Monday, or midweek, Monday to Thursday. Tell us your date, we check with Château Sentout and reply in writing.

Yes: under the arcades of the cloister garden, in the orchard, or on the lawn by the tall pine. For a blessing, the château also has its own chapel, with 19th-century stained glass. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Tabanac town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Yes: from Mérignac airport as from central Bordeaux, you follow the ring road to exit 22A, then 17 km to the château. And 50 of your guests sleep on site, from Friday to Monday.

At the château. One of you in the bridal suite, in the square tower above the courtyard, your people close by. The other in one of the houses around the courtyard, every room with its own bathroom.

Yes. A step-free room has an adapted shower room, with direct access to the living room and the gardens. Every room is air-conditioned, the little ones have their nursery, and 60 cars park on site.

Dinner moves into the reception room, with its stone walls and beams, which seats 100, and drinks go under the columned gallery. If you are more, the Berber tent welcomes up to 120 guests, and the party carries on in the dance hall.

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

Yes, and if you already have a vendor in mind, they're welcome. Your photos are included, with our photographers. If you already have yours, we welcome them into the team and adjust your price. For the table, the château imposes no caterer: yours is welcome, and it recommends its regulars.
