Your wedding at Château de Sannes

From £44,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests on a weekday between mid-October and late April: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. For the full weekend, or a date from May to September, the price follows the château's seasons. The exact price for your date, in writing within a week.

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

You can, it's a beautiful house. The château rents you its estate, with housekeeping for the rooms, and introduces its own caterer. You then bring together the decor, the flowers, the lighting, the music, the security and the photographer. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

Up to 220 at table under the orangery, among the olive trees. For something more intimate, the sheepfold's vaulted hall, with its fireplace, welcomes up to 100 people.

Yes: in the shade of the century-old magnolias, in the formal garden among the cypresses, or in the meadow facing the Luberon, near the olive grove and the pond. You write the ceremony that feels like you, we set the scene.

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Sannes town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Yes: Marseille Provence airport is 50 minutes away and Aix-en-Provence 35. The château can arrange shuttles to the airport and the TGV station. To sleep nearby, we give you the best addresses around the estate, ready to share with your loved ones.

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

The château's own caterer, the only one it works with, a Provençal house cooking fresh, seasonal produce from local growers for three generations. We build the menu with them, you taste it beforehand, and it is included in your price.

The music plays outside until 11.30 pm, then the party moves into the château's reception rooms and carries on there. We confirm the château's exact times for your date, in writing.

Rain plan: the covered orangery among the olive trees, and a 400 m² marquee with a wooden floor, for the ceremony as well as dinner. And for dancing, the château's five reception rooms.

In the château's upstairs bedrooms, or in the guest house set up in the old stables. One of you on each side, if you'd like to see each other for the first time at the ceremony.
