Your wedding at Château de Taulignan

From £65,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. Your exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you have it in writing within a week.

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

You can, it's a beautiful house. The château rents you its estate, its rooms with their linen, its furniture, the nomad tent and the dance room's sound system. You then bring together the caterer, the service, the drinks, the flowers, the music, the photographer and the running of the day. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

Up to 200 for drinks in the French garden. Dinner under the nomad tent seats more than 150 at round tables, and beyond that a larger marquee, which the château allows; then the party in the dance room. Up to 42 of your guests sleep at the château.

Yes, as the château itself puts it: it hosts one event a day, and for a wedding the estate is privatised for the whole weekend. Your people arrive from Friday, the rooms are theirs, and the weekend runs until Sunday.

The château sets no end time. After dinner under the tent, the party moves into the dance room of the wedding wing, soundproofed and already fitted with sound, and up to 42 of your guests sleep a few steps away.

The château is open all year round. Tell us your date, we check with Château de Taulignan and reply in writing.

Yes: in the plane-tree lane, a terrace of more than 300 m² under three rows of trees over 35 metres tall, or somewhere more intimate on the estate. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Saint-Marcellin-lès-Vaison town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Yes. The nearest airports are Marseille and Lyon; by train, Orange station is 30 minutes away and Avignon TGV one hour. Over 70 cars park on the estate, and up to 42 of your guests sleep on site.

Up to 42 of them just walk to their room. The others stay in Vaison-la-Romaine, 2 km away, and we give you the addresses, ready to share with your loved ones.

At the château. The bridal suite, nearly 100 m² in the wedding wing, has its own bathroom with a double shower and a dressing room; the other can get ready in one of the château's suites, your people next door.

Yes. A ground-floor suite in the main building and a ground-floor room in the south wing are accessible, the first terrace is level with the château, and cars park on the estate. Children have their own space, and dogs are welcome.
