Why we love Domaine de Blanche Fleur

Here the Sorgue runs right round the garden: the estate is a river island, with a 15th-century mill, a chapel from 1690 and a glass Orangerie opening onto the pool. The whole weekend is yours, at the gates of Avignon. At dusk the courtyard lights up under its garlands: that is where your guests will linger.

The area

Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne is a village between Avignon and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, on the waters of the Sorgue, which rises at Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, 25 km upstream. For the guests who come early: the Provençal market of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue on Thursday and Sunday mornings, and its antiques fair on Sundays.

Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French company that plans weddings with everything included. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

  • French company, licensed live-event producer Your contract is governed by French law
  • Covered by professional liability insurance
How much does a wedding at Domaine de Blanche Fleur cost?

From £43,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the estate directly?

You can, it's a beautiful house. The estate rents you the venue and its gîtes from Friday to Sunday, with its furniture and its good addresses. You then bring together the caterer, the drinks, the DJ, the photographer, the flowers and the decor. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the estate keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 150, seated in the Orangerie as for the ceremony in the garden, and up to 30 of them can sleep on the estate.

Which dates are still free?

Tell us your date, we check with the estate and reply in writing. Weddings are held there all year round, winter included: the Orangerie has a heated floor.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes: in the garden, in the shade of the olive trees along the Sorgue, or in front of the chapel. If it rains, the Atelier and the Barn take over. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

Can we have a religious wedding?

Yes, right on the estate: the chapel, founded in 1690, is consecrated and welcomes religious ceremonies in a small circle. For a Catholic wedding with all your guests, the village church is 2 km away, and the estate puts you in touch.

Can we have our civil wedding in Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the estate. Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the celebration at Blanche Fleur.

Until what time can we party?

Until 4 am, in the Orangerie. Dinner under the stars or under the glass, then the dance floor, and your guests have only the courtyard to cross to reach their gîte.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Marseille Provence airport is an hour away, Avignon TGV is the nearest high-speed station, and Gadagne station is in the village. Up to 30 of them sleep on the estate, and we share the best addresses in Avignon and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue for the others.

Where do we get ready?

In the gîtes of the Bastide, a few steps from everything. The largest, Mistral, has a wood stove, period beams and three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom: room for you, your witnesses and the hair and make-up.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English. Your guests land in Marseille, an hour away, and up to 30 of them stay on the estate with you.
