The area

Guainville is a village of Eure-et-Loir on the Eure, right across from Normandy, between Anet and Giverny. The Château d'Anet, a Renaissance masterpiece built for Diane de Poitiers, is 10 minutes away, the gardens of Giverny 25. For those who arrive the day before: a boat on the river, the domaine's bikes, or a round of golf 5 minutes away.

Fervenza is a French company that plans weddings with everything included. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Domaine de Primard cost?

From £310,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the domaine directly?

You can, it's a beautiful house. The domaine hires you its 40 hectares and its spaces, and its kitchen cooks for you. You then bring together the decor, the florist, the photographer, the DJ and your guests' welcome. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the domaine keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

From 50 to 150, and up to 150 indoors too. 78 of them sleep at the domaine, in its 39 rooms and suites; for the others, we give you the addresses in Anet, 10 minutes away.

Which dates are still free?

The domaine hosts weddings all year round, in summer as in winter. Tell us your date, we check with the domaine and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, in the park, in the formal garden, between its clipped hedges and around a round pool. If the sky can't make up its mind, you move indoors, the reception room first: the domaine's indoor spaces welcome up to 150 people.

Can we have our civil wedding in Guainville?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the domaine. Guainville town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the domaine.

Our guests are coming from far away. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Paris is 55 minutes away by car, and a direct train links Paris Saint-Lazare to Bueil station in 50 minutes, where the domaine's free electric shuttle picks them up, 5 minutes away. Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports are 1 h 15 by road.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

Will other hotel guests be there?

No: for your wedding, the domaine is privately hired as a whole, its 39 rooms, its gardens and every space, until noon on the last day. Your guests are the only ones there.

Where do we get ready?

At the château: its three Signature suites look out over the moat, the Eure, the pool or the park. And before the big day, the spa in the Maison de l'Orée, with its Japanese bath, its sauna and a treatment room for two.

Are our children and our dog welcome?

Yes. Children have a playground and the farm, with its sheep, Highland cows and donkeys, and dogs come at no extra cost. With more than 5 children under 13, the domaine asks for someone to look after them: we arrange it with you.
