The area

The estate stretches at the foot of the Alpilles, between Eyguières and Aureille, in the Alpilles regional nature park. Eyguières is the village of springs and fountains, its Provençal motto says that water makes you beautiful. Saint-Rémy-de-Provence's big market is on Wednesday morning, 25 minutes away, and walkers climb to the Opies tower, the highest point of the Alpilles, on the ridge just above.

Fervenza is a French company that plans weddings with everything included. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Domaine Jòlibois cost?

From £52,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the estate directly?

You can, it's a lovely house. The estate rents you its spaces and its 18 beds, and opens its address book. You then bring together the caterer, the flowers, the decor, the music, the photographer and the running of the day. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the estate keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 150 seated for dinner. For a cocktail dinner, the reception hall welcomes up to 200 people, and the forecourt outside up to 400 for drinks. You two and 16 of your guests sleep on the estate, 22 more at the Mas de l'Étoile, 3 minutes away.

Which dates are still free?

Tell us your date, we check with Domaine Jòlibois and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes: in the olive grove, in the shade of the trees, or in the estate's ceremony space, built for it, with the Alpilles in view. Religious or symbolic ceremonies are welcome there too.

Can we have our civil wedding in Eyguières?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the estate. Eyguières town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the estate.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Avignon and Aix-en-Provence TGV stations are 40 minutes away, Marseille airport an hour. 16 of your guests sleep on the estate with you, 22 more at the Mas de l'Étoile, and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, 25 minutes away, has 20 hotels. The estate can run shuttles, and we share the best addresses.

How late can we dance?

As late as you like: indoors, in the reception hall, the evening of the wedding has no closing time, within the law. The guests staying on the estate are a few steps from their bed, and for the others the estate can run shuttles.

Where do we get ready?

On the estate. Among its 8 bedrooms, one suite is kept for the couple: one of you gets ready there, the other in a bedroom at the Villa Poésie or the guest house, your people close by.

Will our families be comfortable, children and grandparents included?

Yes: a playground and a pétanque court, a playroom and baby equipment at the Villa Poésie, access for guests with reduced mobility, and 100 parking spaces right on site.

Can we choose our caterer?

Yes. The estate welcomes outside caterers, and its professional kitchen, with a cold room, is there for them. We pick yours together, at the tasting, and the estate has no corkage fee for your wines.

Can we see the olive harvest?

Yes, if you marry in the autumn: the harvest starts in early October and lasts more than two months. From 8 October to 15 December, the estate runs a harvest workshop, hand-picking, then the mill at work and a tasting of its organic oils.
