The area

The mas sits five minutes from Eygalières, a village of the Alpilles, and fifteen from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, where Van Gogh painted and the Roman ruins of Glanum can be visited. Saint-Rémy's big market is on Wednesday morning, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue's on Sunday, 20 minutes away. And the Via Domitia greenway starts right at the mas, by bike.

Fervenza is a French company that plans weddings with everything included. With Émilie and the whole team, we’re already planning the weddings of 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Le Mas de la Rose cost?

From £45,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests, on weekdays in April or October: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. Summer Saturdays cost more. Your exact price depends on your date and guest count, in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once we’ve agreed, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, a wish added along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can’t make it?

We replace them. They’re our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd’s. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can’t be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the mas directly?

You can, it's a lovely house. The mas rents you its estate and its 12 rooms, and its kitchen cooks for you. You then bring together the furniture for all your guests, the flowers, the decor, the music, the photographer and the running of the day. With us, all of that is in your price, except the rooms, which the mas bills directly. Every choice stays yours, and the mas keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

From 40 to 150, at the table as for drinks. At 40, almost everyone stays at the mas; at 150, it's the big party. 28 beds on site, and the others stay in Eygalières or Saint-Rémy, 5 and 15 minutes away.

Which dates are still free?

The mas hosts weddings from April to October. Tell us your date, we check with Le Mas de la Rose and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, in the garden: under the old pines, the chairs in a circle, with the lavender behind you. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

Can we have our civil wedding in Orgon?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the mas. Orgon town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the mas.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Avignon TGV station is 35 minutes away, Aix-en-Provence TGV 40, Marseille airport 45. The mas's concierge can book shuttles and private transfers for its guests, and 28 of your guests sleep on site.

How do our guests get back after the party?

28 of them are a few steps from their room. The others stay in Eygalières or Saint-Rémy, and the mas's concierge arranges the shuttles.

Where do we get ready?

At the mas. One of you in a suite with its private terrace facing the Alpilles, your people next door, the ceremony lawn a few steps away. The other in the mas's own getting-ready room, or in another suite.

When is the lavender in bloom?

From mid-June to late July, at its fullest in early July. The estate's lavender grows right beside the ceremony lawn, so in those weeks it frames your vows. In May and September, the rows are green and the evenings milder.

And if it rains?

Dinner moves into the covered pavilion, which seats up to 120 guests, and the party carries on in the mas's lounges and the restaurant's dining rooms. If you are more, a tent goes up in the garden.
